The number that matters is landed.
The price above is ex-works. Between the supplier door and your rack sit freight and insurance at node weights, export screening, customs classification and duties, import VAT or GST and its recovery, and the last mile into the facility. We price all of it up front so two offers can be compared honestly. The mechanics are on the import and IOR desk.

Fleet rotation and cancelled orders now drive H100 supply.
Most of the H100 volume we track now reaches the market through two doors: fleet rotation, where large operators retire HGX nodes as their Blackwell racks land, and cancelled orders that never made it to the original buyer. Neither door existed at this scale a year ago. Both put real hardware on the ground rather than a build slot on a schedule.
That changes your position as a buyer. Rotated fleet stock is already burned in, already configured, and the seller wants it gone before the next tranche arrives. Cancelled-order units are effectively new. We currently see refurbished HGX nodes listed at $240,000 per 8-GPU node ex-works US, on 7 and 25 day lines depending on the batch.
Timing matters more than haggling here. A rotation batch clears fast, then the market goes quiet until the next operator refreshes. We contract directly with the supplier, KYC runs before any introduction, and our compensation comes from the supply side under disclosed arrangements.
The H100 has settled into its role as the value platform for inference.
The buyers we see taking H100 nodes today are not chasing frontier training runs. They run production inference on models that fit comfortably in 80GB of HBM3 per GPU, fine tune open-weight models on their own data, and serve steady request volume where cost per token decides the budget. For that shape of work the platform is hard to argue with at current pricing.
Choose the platform above it when your training runs are memory-bound across nodes or your roadmap depends on the newest interconnect. Choose the platform below it when your models are small enough that H100 capacity would sit idle.
